This survey is part of a public consultation process into a proposal to integrate the services of Hampshire County Council Arts and Museums, Southampton City Council Arts and Heritage and Winchester City Council Museums Service into a single independent organisation in the form of a Charitable Trust. Please read the statement below in bold which describes the anticipated benefits of such an arrangement and then give us your views on this plan.

This plan aims to give Hampshire, Southampton and Winchester a single strong cultural voice and make the most of the county's rich cultural inheritance. The expected advantages are: ·Benefit from thinking big in our programming ·Topical programmes mixing local with national ·A strong and innovative digital presence ·Bigger shared collective pool of resource and expertise ·Larger, stronger team with confidence to be bold and ambitious ·Strong community identity and local branding ·Safeguarding cultural heritage for grandchildren ·Better use of tax-payers’ funding
